1. How your photo is processed
Cropping, sizing, quality checks, edge repair and rendering run inside your browser. If the selected document profile permits background processing, choosing a file starts background removal by temporarily writing your source photo under a random R2 object key and processing it with Cloudflare Images Transformations using BiRefNet. The source object is deleted after that request, whether processing succeeds or fails. The transformation URL is not returned to your browser. If you do not want the photo uploaded, do not choose a file on a profile that offers background processing; replacement can be turned off in the result, but that does not undo the completed temporary upload.
2. What we do collect
Standard, aggregate web analytics (pages visited, referrer, country-level location, device type) to understand which document pages are useful. This data is not linked to your identity and contains no photo data. If you begin checkout, we privately store the finished digital photo and print files for up to 24 hours so a completed payment can be delivered and downloaded again after a refresh. The payment order stores technical identifiers and status, not card details. Signed download links expire and do not make the storage bucket public.
3. Payments
Payments are handled entirely by our merchant of record. Your card details go directly to them and never touch our systems. Their privacy policy applies to billing data; we receive the transaction, customer and payment-status identifiers needed to verify the purchase and restore its secure browser download.
4. Cookies
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Only functional storage (purchase unlock state) and privacy-respecting analytics are used.
5. Your rights
Local photo history stays in your browser. Temporary background-removal uploads are deleted automatically after processing. Paid delivery files are deleted after the stated retention period.
